25th Anniversary Great-West Life Bike MS, Colorado's Ride 2010 Presented by Sam's Club

Completed June 26th-27th.  Nice weather both days: low 90s on Saturday and high 80s on Sunday.  This was my 4th CO MS 150.  This course runs from Denver to Ft. Collins and back.  The route has some rolling hills and a nice climb each day up to Horsetooth Reservoir (a beautiful state park outside of Ft. Collins).  Day two offers a century option with some added climbing up Rist Canyon and a more challenging climb up to Horsetooth.  It makes for a tough century but worth the scenery.  Lots of support and volunteers along the route.  Approximately 3500 riders, that will raise 2 million+ for the MS Society!

C.H. Robinson Worldwide Ride: Proctor to White Bear Lake, MN - June 12-13

Fun ride!  Ride runs from Proctor (outside Duluth) to White Bear Lake (outside St. Paul).  About 90% of this ride is on a trail.  Yes there's actually that much bike trail between Duluth and the Twin Cities!  Clay Walker and his BAMS team took part in this ride.  Meg and I had the opportunity to talk with Clay before the ride and then I was honored to lead out the riders with Clay, Curt Walsh, and Sheri Paulson (pictured above)!  Very cool!  It was cool and foggy with some rain both days.  Plenty of support and lots of friendly people on the route.  This was another flat, fast course with less than 1000 feet of elevation gain each day.
