Arizona: Round Up Ride (March, 27-28)

First ride of 2010 is in the books!  This was a fun weekend.  Weather was good.  Little chilly in the mornings (high 40s), but quickly heated up to remind us we were in the desert.  Only problem was someone ordered plenty of wind.  This ride was held in Florence, AZ, a rural area about 1 hour southeast of Phoenix.  Nice small town with friendly people.  The ride offers plenty of distance options with 40, 75, and 100 mile options on Saturday and 25, 45, and 60 mile options on Sunday.  Support on the ride was excellent.  Each water stop had plenty of friendly faces to help, with lots of SAG and law enforcement for traffic control along the course.  The only down side is that, given the rural location, some of the roads aren't as well maintained which makes for a rough ride.
